The CHECKMATE Collection celebrates the classic game of chess, combining the two sides of the game into single dramatic pieces.  Products available in this collection include a complete set of Fine China including complete full sets of dinnerware: Oval Serving Platters, Charger/Serving Plates, Dinner Plates, Soup Bowls, Salad Plates, Dessert Plates and Cup & Saucer sets.  Each piece of china features a different chess piece in the center with a checkerboard patterned rim.  The cups have a surprise inside: the pawn is at the bottom of the cup! Also available in this collection are Translucent Whiskey Glasses - handmade matte finished heavy based glasses for each chess piece as well as a squared translucent shot glass set of 6 that has an optional metal storage tin.  The collection is completed with a plastic serving tray and hand-stitched cotton napkins.
